About Us
Founded in 2019, 2nd Chance Accessibility Plus was built on a simple but powerful mission: to create real employment opportunities for individuals facing barriers after incarceration, and to improve accessibility for seniors and local businesses. Inspired by a conversation with a man on the 16th Street Mall who couldn’t find work due to his background, we felt called to act. Our work reflects our commitment to dignity, independence, and second chances.
Steven brings more than 30 years of carpentry and handyman experience, offering skilled craftsmanship and practical solutions for every project. I contribute a lifetime of lived experience — having been disabled for all 54 years of my life, I understand firsthand how essential accessibility is for safety, comfort, and independence. Together, we combine professional expertise with personal insight to serve our community with compassion and purpose.
